  • You are 18 years or older
  • Your diagnosis is a stroke caused by a blood clot (ischemic stroke), bleeding in the brain (intracerebral hemorrhage), or bleeding around the brain (subarachnoid hemorrhage)
  • You are not receiving comfort care only on the day of or day after your stroke
  • You do not leave the hospital against medical advice
  • You are not enrolled in another stroke research study that competes with this one
