Who can take part

  • You are 35 years old or older and not a candidate for knee replacement surgery.
  • You have moderate to severe knee pain (at least 6 out of 10) that hasn't improved after 3 months of treatments like physical therapy, painkillers, or steroid shots.
  • You have arthritis in your knee confirmed by X-ray or MRI (with a score of 2 or higher).
  • You have not had any prior nerve ablation, partial knee replacement, or total knee replacement in that knee.
  • You do not have any other major nerve pain, widespread pain, recent leg injury, or active infection.
