Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 35 years old, or between 65 and 80 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 20 and 25.
  • You do not have any heart or blood sugar conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart failure.
  • You are not taking blood thinners or medications that affect how your body uses fat, such as statins, niacin, or fish oil supplements.
  • You are not pregnant, nursing, or a smoker.
  • You are able to understand and sign a consent form.
