Who can take part

  • You have a locally advanced (stage III or IV) head or neck cancer that is poorly differentiated (fast-growing cells), in areas like the throat, voice box, or sinuses, but not nasopharyngeal cancer.
  • You haven't had a PD-1/PD-L1 drug combined with chemotherapy before.
  • You are at least 18 years old, with a good performance status (able to do most daily activities).
  • Your blood counts, kidney, and liver function are within certain limits (checked by blood tests).
  • You do not have active infections like HIV or hepatitis, uncontrolled medical conditions, or a history of certain other cancers in the past 5 years.
