Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
  • You are 20 years or older.
  • You wear a mandibular advancement device (MAD) — a mouthguard that pushes your lower jaw forward — and it is set to at least half of the maximum amount you can open.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is under 35.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You do not have severe lung disease, high-risk heart problems, or uncontrolled chronic illnesses.
