Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have PAH that is either idiopathic (unknown cause) or related to a connective tissue disease (like scleroderma or lupus).
- Your PAH is in WHO functional class 2 or 3 (meaning you have some symptoms with activity but not at rest).
- You have high blood pressure in your lung arteries (confirmed by a heart catheterization).
- You can safely undergo an MRI with inhaled xenon gas.
- You do not have other types of pulmonary hypertension.
