Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 75 years old
- Be an outpatient (not hospitalized)
- Have a diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension that is either unexplained, due to lung disease, due to blood clots, or due to other causes
- Be on a lung transplant waiting list or, for a second group, have recently started treatment for pulmonary hypertension
- Be able to undergo an MRI scan (no metal in the eye, not claustrophobic, able to lie flat)
- Not have certain conditions like severe heart disease, active cancer, or sickle cell anemia
