Who can take part
- You must be a postmenopausal woman (no period for at least a year).
- Your breast cancer must be strongly ER-positive (at least 50% of cells test positive for estrogen receptors) and HER2-negative.
- Your cancer must be at an early stage (T1-3, N1, M0) meaning it may have spread to 1–3 lymph nodes but not to other organs.
- You must not have had any breast cancer treatment before, including chemotherapy, hormone therapy, or surgery (except a diagnostic biopsy).
- Your heart and lung function must be generally healthy—no serious heart disease, uncontrolled lung problems, or recent heart attack.
