Who can take part

  • You must have extensive-stage small cell lung cancer that has spread beyond the lung.
  • You should be in reasonably good health (up and about, able to care for yourself).
  • Your blood counts (white cells, platelets, red cells) need to be within a certain range – your doctor can check these.
  • Your liver and kidney function must be mostly normal (simple blood tests will confirm).
  • You cannot have had immunotherapy or certain other cancer treatments before, and you must not have an active autoimmune disease or uncontrolled infection.
