Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with metabolic fatty liver disease (MAFLD).
  • You have had a liver biopsy in the last 6 months that shows early to moderate fibrosis (stage F0-F4).
  • You do not have cirrhosis caused by other liver diseases like hepatitis B or C.
  • You have no history of serious liver complications (fluid in belly, bleeding varices, or confusion).
  • You have not had heavy drinking episodes in the past year, and have not used certain liver-harming medications for more than 2 weeks in the last year.
