- You must have at least 8% fat in your liver.
- Your liver scarring (ELF) score must be between 9 and 10.8 on a blood test.
- Your liver stiffness (on a FibroScan) must be between 10 and 20 kPa.
- You cannot have other types of liver disease besides MASLD (fatty liver linked to metabolism).
- Your body mass index (BMI) must be 25 or higher (overweight or obese).
- You cannot have lost more than 11 pounds in the last 3 months.
- Your blood sugar control (HbA1c) must be 10% or lower, and you cannot have type 1 diabetes.
