Who can take part

  • You must be newly diagnosed with an ultra high-risk form of multiple myeloma (like double-hit, extramedullary, or plasma cell leukemia).
  • You have not received any previous treatment for multiple myeloma, except for bone-strengthening drugs or local radiation.
  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • Your doctor thinks you are fit enough to receive intensive chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant.
  • Your overall health is good (ECOG score 0–2) before starting this therapy.
