Who can take part
- You have pancreatic cancer that is borderline resectable or locally advanced (not spread to distant organs, but the tumor may be attached to nearby blood vessels).
- If your cancer is borderline resectable, you must have finished at least 1 round of standard chemotherapy 1 to 3 weeks before starting this trial. For locally advanced cancer, there is no waiting period after chemo.
- You must be 18 years or older, able to walk and care for yourself (ECOG score 0-2).
- Your kidney, liver, and blood cell counts need to be working well (your doctor will check this with blood tests).
- You must be able to swallow pills.
- You cannot have had any other cancer treatment for pancreatic cancer in the last 2 years (other than the chemo you just finished).
