Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for a head MRI scan while under general anesthesia.
  • You are over 18 years old.
  • You do not have a history of stroke or a brain tumor in certain areas of the brain.
  • You have never been diagnosed with dementia.
  • You have never had brain surgery, a spinal cord injury, a vagotomy, or a phrenic nerve injury.
