Who can take part

  • You are on hemodialysis (HD).
  • You gain at least 2.5% of your dry weight in fluid over the 3-day break between dialysis sessions.
  • You can understand and agree to take part in the study.
  • You do not have a serious infection or active cancer that causes body-wide inflammation.
  • Your phosphate levels are controlled enough, as judged by your doctor.
