Who can take part

  • You must be 18 to 100 years old
  • You must have a chronic subdural hematoma on the top or side of your brain
  • You must be able to consent to treatment
  • If your blood clot causes symptoms, you can join the study
  • If your blood clot is large but not causing symptoms, you can join after at least 6 weeks of non-surgical treatment that hasn't worked
