Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have been newly diagnosed with a type of throat cancer called non-keratinizing nasopharyngeal carcinoma (WHO type II or III).
- Your cancer is at an early to moderately advanced stage (stage I to IVa).
- You have not had chemotherapy or radiation therapy for this cancer yet.
- You do not have a current ear infection or other ear problems (like eustachian tube issues) before radiation.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or have serious health conditions affecting major organs.
