Who can take part

  • Diagnosed with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (a type of head and neck cancer)
  • No cancer spread to lymph nodes in the neck's lower areas (regions III and IVa)
  • Cancer is in early or locally advanced stage (I to IVa) without distant spread
  • Thyroid function is normal before starting treatment
  • You have not had any prior cancer treatment (no chemo, radiation, or surgery)
  • Good overall health with adequate blood counts and organ function
