Fluoride treatment to prevent tooth decay in NPC patients

Who can take part

  • You must have nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC) confirmed by biopsy, type II or III.
  • Your cancer stage is II, III, or IVa (not stage I or IVb).
  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You have no distant spread (metastasis) of cancer.
  • You have at least 2 functional teeth in each of the 6 sections of your mouth.
  • You have good blood counts and normal liver and kidney function.
  • You are not pregnant and agree to use effective birth control during the study.
