Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer (a type of throat cancer) that is not the keratinizing type.
- Your cancer is at stage II, III, or IVa, which means it has not spread to distant parts of the body.
- You are between 18 and 60 years old.
- You have not had previous radiation therapy or chemotherapy for this cancer.
- You have at least 2 natural teeth in each of the 6 sections of your mouth (checked by a dentist).
- You do not have serious gum disease or active infections in your mouth.
