Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 65 years old.
- You must have a confirmed diagnosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (a type of throat cancer) that is non-keratinizing type II or III.
- Your cancer must be at an early stage (stage IB–II) and not have spread to distant parts of the body.
- Before starting treatment, you'll have a blood test to measure EBV-DNA levels, which is a marker of the virus associated with this cancer.
- You must be in good general health with adequate organ function, and have an ECOG performance status of 0–1 (meaning you are fully active or only restricted in physically strenuous activity).
