New imaging test for early-onset retinal disease

Who can take part

  • Your child is under 9 years old (age 0 to 8)
  • Your child has a clear cornea and lens (no cloudiness blocking the view inside the eye)
  • Your child's glasses prescription is 6 diopters or less (not too nearsighted or farsighted)
  • For children with suspected retinal disease: a genetic test has found a disease-causing change in a retinal gene
  • For healthy controls: no signs or history of retinal problems
