Who can take part

  • Your child is 18 years old or younger and has had a liver transplant.
  • Your child can swallow capsules whole.
  • Your child has been taking the immediate-release form of tacrolimus for at least 3 months.
  • Blood counts, liver and kidney function, and blood clotting are normal, and doctors consider your child stable.
  • Your child is scheduled for a planned liver biopsy as part of this study.
  • Your child is not allergic to tacrolimus and has not taken the extended-release form before.
