This study tests whether training on a robotic device can help improve balance and posture for people who had a traumatic brain injury (TBI) within the last 6 months to 5 years. It may help if you have some balance issues and can stand without support for 5 minutes.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 65 years old.
  • You had a traumatic brain injury (TBI) at least 6 months ago but no more than 5 years ago.
  • You have been medically stable for the last 3 months since your most recent TBI.
  • You can stand without help for 5 minutes.
  • You weigh less than 300 pounds and do not have severe heart disease, seizure disorder, or other conditions affecting balance.
  • You are willing to not make big medication changes for 4 weeks and can follow study instructions.
