Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old
- You have been diagnosed with primary aldosteronism (a condition that causes high blood pressure due to too much aldosterone from your adrenal glands)
- You agree to sign a consent form and are willing to have a procedure called adrenal venous sampling (getting blood samples from your adrenal veins)
- You have not had a stroke, heart attack, severe heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or a spreading cancer in the last 3 months
- Your kidneys are working well enough (no severe kidney disease)
- You are not allergic to contrast dye, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding
