Who can take part

  • You are between 15 and 60 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with a condition called primary aldosteronism (high blood pressure from too much aldosterone) and the specific type is idiopathic hyperaldosteronism (not a single nodule).
  • Your kidney function is good (eGFR at least 45 and creatinine level normal).
  • You have not had a stroke, heart attack, or stent placement in the last 3 months.
  • You are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
  • You are not severely allergic to contrast dye (used in imaging tests).
