Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 80 years old.
  • You have non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that is not squamous type, and a test has shown you have a specific EGFR mutation (like exon 19 deletion, L858R, or T790M).
  • You have taken an EGFR-targeted pill (like osimertinib, erlotinib, gefitinib, or afatinib) and it either stopped working or you couldn't tolerate the side effects.
  • You have not had chemotherapy for advanced or metastatic lung cancer before.
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans, and your overall health is good enough for this treatment.
  • If you have brain metastases, they must be stable or already treated, and you must not have spinal cord or meningeal spread.
