Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with benign essential blepharospasm or hemifacial spasm by an eye doctor.
- You are not currently taking other nerve or muscle medications.
- You have not had surgery for these spasms in the past.
- Your spasm severity and frequency scores at least 4 out of 8 on a standard scale.
- You are 18 or older, not pregnant, and not allergic to botulinum toxin.
