Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old
  • You have had a stroke and have had arm or hand stiffness for at least 3 months
  • Your arm or hand stiffness is moderate to severe (rating of 2 or more on a standard scale)
  • Your stiffness makes daily tasks like dressing, hygiene, or arm positioning difficult (rating of 2 or more)
  • You have not received any botulinum toxin shots in the last 6 months
  • You do not have epilepsy, active hepatitis, or HIV
