Pulsed magnetic therapy for knee strength before replacement

Who can take part

  • You are 50 years or older with end-stage knee osteoarthritis
  • You are scheduled to have total knee replacement surgery at Prince of Wales Hospital
  • You can travel to the hospital for treatments
  • You have not had any hip or knee joint replacement surgery before
  • You do not have inflammatory arthritis, nerve/muscle disorders, or substance abuse problems
