- You are 50 years or older with end-stage knee osteoarthritis
- You are scheduled to have total knee replacement surgery at Prince of Wales Hospital
- You can travel to the hospital for treatments
- You have not had any hip or knee joint replacement surgery before
- You do not have inflammatory arthritis, nerve/muscle disorders, or substance abuse problems
