Who can take part
- You have had a previous surgery for tethered cord syndrome (like fixing a thickened filum, lipoma, or dermoid).
- Your symptoms came back after that surgery (such as bladder/bowel problems, numbness, pain, muscle weakness, or sexual issues).
- Your original diagnosis was one of these: thickened filum, low-lying spinal cord, meningocele, lipoma, dermoid, or spina bifida.
- You do not have severe scoliosis, severe osteoporosis, or skin breakdown in your back area.
- You are generally healthy enough to undergo surgery.
