Who can take part
- You have progressive idiopathic scoliosis (spine curve with no known cause)
- You are still growing (skeletal immaturity based on Risser <5 and Sanders <8)
- Your curve is between 30° and 65° on the Cobb angle measurement
- Your curve type is Lenke Type 1 (main thoracic curve)
- Bracing did not work for you or you could not tolerate wearing the brace
- Your surgical area skin is healthy and there is no infection where surgery would be
