If you are having chest pain and are already scheduled for a heart catheterization or CT scan, this study might help find the cause more accurately.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You have symptoms like chest pain that might be from your heart, and you are scheduled for a heart catheterization or CT scan.
  • You do not have a type of heart attack called STEMI.
  • You do not have certain other heart conditions (like non-ischemic cardiomyopathy, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, or moderate to severe valve disease).
  • You are stable enough (blood pressure above 90, no severe fast heart rhythm or heart block, no dialysis, no advanced cancer, not pregnant or breastfeeding).
  • You can be safely placed in the MCG device without metal interference.
