Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with COPD and your lung function is severe or very severe (GOLD stage 3 or 4).
  • You are over 40 years old.
  • Your COPD has been stable for at least 4 weeks without a flare-up.
  • You have not used certain breathing medications (short-acting within 24 hours, long-acting within 48 hours) or steroids in the past month.
  • You do not have asthma, active tuberculosis, serious lung scarring, other major health problems, or a history of gut surgery.
