Who can take part
- You must have advanced or metastatic breast cancer that is HR+ (hormone receptor-positive) and HER2-negative.
- You must have a harmful BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene mutation confirmed by a genetic test.
- You must be scheduled to start treatment with a PARP inhibitor (olaparib) as part of your standard care.
- You must be at least 18 years old and willing to provide a tumor tissue sample from a past biopsy or surgery.
- You cannot have had a PARP inhibitor before, and you must not have serious heart, liver, kidney, or blood problems.
- You must not have active brain metastases that are untreated or causing symptoms, or other severe uncontrolled medical conditions.
