Who can take part

  • You must speak German
  • Your child's BMI is above the 97th percentile for their age and sex (based on Swiss charts)
  • Your child attends the weight management clinic at Bern University Children's Hospital
  • Your child lives with you at home
  • You and your child have not joined another trial with similar goals
  • Your child does not have obesity caused by a genetic syndrome or a major heart, lung, or muscle condition
