Who can take part

  • You have severe or greater tricuspid regurgitation (a leaky heart valve).
  • Your central venous pressure (pressure in the large veins near the heart) is at least 15 mmHg.
  • You have significant symptoms like shortness of breath or fatigue with very little activity (NYHA class III or IV).
  • You are not eligible for standard heart surgery or treatment for this condition, or you have refused it, or you've had treatment but still have symptoms.
  • You do not have severe right heart weakness, high blood pressure in the lungs, or other serious heart valve or kidney/liver problems.
