Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) and have received at least one drug-eluting stent (a small mesh tube) in your heart artery.
  • You are able to take blood-thinning medication (dual antiplatelet therapy) for at least 12 months.
  • You do not have a dangerously high risk of bleeding (determined by specific medical criteria).
  • You are not allergic to aspirin, clopidogrel, or ticagrelor (common heart medicines).
