Who can take part

  • You have a painful spot on the cartilage of your ankle joint, called an osteochondral lesion of the talus.
  • The lesion was seen on a CT scan.
  • Your growth plates at the bottom of your shin bone are still open (meaning you are still growing).
  • You are between 4 and 18 years old.
  • You do NOT have a fresh ankle injury, you haven't had surgery on the lesion, and you don't have a blood disease like hemophilia.
