A study on a custom ankle implant for people aged 20-60

Who can take part

  • You are between 20 and 60 years old.
  • You have a painful cartilage defect in your ankle that hasn't improved with non-surgical treatments or previous surgery.
  • Your cartilage defect is a limited, contained area that can be treated with a custom implant.
  • You do not have an active infection in your ankle.
  • You do not have arthritis on the shinbone side of your ankle or severe ankle instability.
  • You do not currently smoke and do not have substance abuse issues.
