HER3 PET scan for advanced EGFR-mutant lung cancer

This study uses a special PET/CT scan to measure a protein called HER3 in your tumors. The scan uses a radioactive version of the drug patritumab deruxtecan (HER3-DXd). This test may help doctors understand how much HER3 is in your cancer and decide if HER3-targeted therapy could work for you.

Who can take part

  • You have advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with an EGFR mutation that cannot be treated with curative intent.
  • You have had at least one EGFR inhibitor treatment (like osimertinib, gefitinib, or erlotinib) for your cancer.
  • You have at least two tumors that are each at least 2 cm in size.
  • You are willing to have a tumor biopsy (or provide a stored sample) for the study.
  • You have no history of interstitial lung disease, severe lung problems, or untreated brain metastases.
  • You are 18 or older, with good overall health and organ function.
