HER2 PET/CT Imaging for Advanced Lung Cancer

This study uses a special PET/CT scan to see how a radioactive tracer called Zr-trastuzumab collects in your lung cancer cells. The results will help doctors understand which patients with certain HER2 changes might benefit from HER2-targeted treatments.

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older and willing to follow all study rules.
  • Your lung cancer must have a specific HER2 change: either a high HER2 level (called overexpression) or an activating HER2 mutation found by a special gene test.
  • Your cancer must have grown after at least one round of platinum-based chemotherapy, and you must be about to start a new treatment.
  • You need to have at least two tumors on a scan that are at least 2 cm wide and can be measured.
  • You must be able to have a PET/CT scan and provide a recent tumor sample.
  • Your blood counts, liver, and kidney function must be adequate (routine blood tests will check this).
