Who can take part

  • You are between 22 and 65 years old.
  • Your spinal cord injury happened between 6 months and 20 years ago and is not getting worse.
  • Your injury is in the neck or upper back (above T2) and you have some movement in your arms and hands when helped by a therapist.
  • You are able to have an fMRI brain scan (no metal implants like pacemakers or clips).
  • You do not have any active medical problems like infections, wounds, or unhealed fractures, and your weight is within a healthy range (BMI under 30).
