Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have either a spinal cord injury (at neck level C3 to C8) or a stroke with some arm/hand movement.
  • If spinal cord injury, it happened at least 1 year ago. If stroke, it happened at least 6 months ago.
  • You do not have serious communication problems (aphasia) or severe muscle stiffness (spasticity score 3 or higher).
  • You do not have any metal implants in your head or implanted devices like a pacemaker or brain stimulator.
  • You have not had seizures or take medications that could increase seizure risk.
