This trial tests whether electrical stimulation of the spinal cord can improve movement and muscle control in people with spinal cord injury. If you've had a spinal cord injury for more than a year and are between 20-70 years old, this might help improve leg function and walking.

  • You are between 20 and 70 years old
  • You have had a spinal cord injury for at least one year
  • Your injury is classified as A, B, C, or D on the ASIA scale (any level of severity)
  • You are planning to have spinal cord stimulation surgery and continue rehab after
  • You are medically stable with no heart, lung, or blood pressure problems that would limit therapy
  • You can understand the consent form and follow study instructions
