Can a vibration device help people with leg artery disease walk further?

Who can take part

  • You have stage II peripheral artery disease that causes leg cramps when walking.
  • Your toe blood pressure is low but not dangerously so (systolic pressure index under 0.7 but above 30 mmHg).
  • You have a blocked artery confirmed by ultrasound.
  • You are already taking medication for blood vessels (like statins, blood thinners, or blood pressure pills).
  • You can understand, write, and read French.
  • You do not use a cane or wheelchair, have not had an amputation, and can walk at least 150 meters.
