This study tests whether a program using local vibrations on the muscles in the front of your ankle can improve leg nerve and movement recovery after stroke. It may help people who have weak ankle lifting during the weeks to months after stroke.

Who can take part
- You had a stroke (bleeding or blocked blood vessel) and are in rehab between 14 days and 3 months after the stroke
- Your lower leg/ankle lifting is weak (your muscle strength score is below 4 out of 5)
- You do not have another past neurological problem that would affect function, besides this stroke
- You can (or your guardian can) sign consent after you are told about the study
- You can join through your local social security plan (or be covered/entitled)
