Who can take part

  • You are right-handed
  • For healthy volunteers: you are 18 to 23 years old
  • For stroke survivors: you had a single stroke more than one year ago, and it happened after age 18
  • You have not had injections for muscle spasticity in the last 6 months (if you had a stroke)
  • Your stroke did not affect the brainstem or cerebellum, and you do not have neglect (ignoring one side of space)
  • You can provide consent on your own behalf, even if you have trouble speaking (aphasia)
