Who can take part

  • You had your first stroke (either clot or bleed) within the last 3 weeks.
  • You have some arm or hand weakness but can still pick up a small block with your affected hand.
  • You have no other conditions that affect arm movement (like arthritis or a past brain injury).
  • You do not have severe memory problems or language issues that would make it hard to follow instructions.
  • You are safe to have an MRI (no metal implants, pacemaker, or severe claustrophobia).
