Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You have been referred to a heart imaging department (like for an echocardiogram).
  • You have moderate or severe disease in at least two different heart valves, or one valve with both moderate narrowing and leaking (called multiple or mixed valve disease).
  • You have not had valve surgery or a catheter procedure on a valve that isn't one of the affected ones.
  • You do not have an active heart valve infection or a history of one in the last 6 months.
