Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for liver surgery (partial removal of the liver).
  • You are between 18 and 85 years old.
  • Your liver function is still good (Child-Pugh score A or B).
  • You have a low to moderate anesthesia risk (ASA class II or III).
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and have no allergies to the study drugs.
  • Your blood counts, kidney function, blood pressure, and weight are within safe ranges.
